Surgeries
When your animal requires surgery, our veterinary professionals can perform the procedure to ensure your animal receives the care they need. We perform most surgeries on standing cattle using sedation, tranquilization, and local anesthesia to control pain and motion, so our team can safely carry out these procedures. Standing surgery is often used to repair traumatic injuries and in situations such as castration, Cesarean section, enucleation, dehorning, and correcting gastrointestinal tract abnormalities. When possible, food should be withheld for 12 to 14 hours before surgery to help prevent regurgitation and bloat.
Our Endless Mountains Veterinary Center team can provide a complete herd management plan. Contact us for help keeping your herd healthy, and maximizing your productivity.
