You can expect a unique experience. From a one-day ride-along to two full weeks of an immersive Large-Animal Veterinary experience. You will receive quality instruction from our knowledgeable and experienced Veterinarians

Endless Mountains Veterinary Center, PC strives to provide opportunities for students to participate in High-Quality Veterinary Medicine Practices.

If it is a mixed-animal experience you are looking for, look no further! We can provide you with the tools and experience you need to learn as much as you can from your Large-Animal or mixed-animal externship.

Endless Mountains Veterinary Center, PC has five locations in Northeastern PA and the Southern Tier of NY. In our five locations, we can offer a wide range of experiences for your externship needs.

The small animal practice will provide a hands-on look at wellness visits, surgeries, emergent care, practice management and education for clients.

The Large Animal Practice can provide you with exposure to DA surgeries, reproductive technologies, herd management, routine visits, dehorning calls, wellness visits, etc.

Housing Availability during your Externship Experience

Housing

We have housing available at no cost to externs.  This housing is located at our Rome premises and contains a private efficiency apartment with one bedroom, a full bathroom, a laundry area, a kitchen and dining area and off-street parking.

We have Small Animal, Large Animal, and Mixed Animal Externships available!
